NIAMH HENNESSY

Hi! My name is Niamh.

I love the human body and how it works. Professionally I’m a biomedical engineer. I worked in the medical device industry pre moving to Australia and have Msc. in Mechanical Engineering which focused on muscle tissue biomechanics.
Gaining understanding of how my body feels and how it works has been a huge driver in my life. On one level that brought me into engineering, and on another it lead me to become a yoga teacher. It’s also been fundamental to my understanding of self.

I’m a classic polymath and depending on who I’m talking to I’m a dancer (ballet), a poet, an artist, a bookbinder, a reiki healer, a hiker, a photographer, a friend, or something else entirely. I’m mastering my life by figuring it out as I go along and feeling every moment of it.
