September Meditation

Finding Compassion in Challenging Times

This meditation invites the listener to practice compassion

There is so much happening in our lives and the wider world that causes us pain, from relationships to climate change. Often we strive to improve these things. This meditation introduces the Sanskrit word Karuna which is often translated as compassion, however I think a better translation is “the quivering of a heart in response to pain”. We hold space for the pain and hold it with tenderness. Stretching our capacity to return pain with love. I hope you enjoy this one and feel your heart grow.

June Meditation

Wonder & Awe

This meditation invites the listener to enter into a state of Wonder & Awe.

Every single moment of our lives is special and the wold provides us with the opportunity to wonder all the time. The purpose of his meditation is the remind you that it’s pretty amazing that you’re living right here right now, that you can notice how you feel, that you have a body and a mind.

Enter into the realm of Wonder and begin to appreciate everything from the small to the great. It’s all here and you get to tune into the magic of this life whenever you want. This meditation has been created to help you earn how to get to that state of mind.

I hope you enjoy it!

May Meditation

Stoking the Fire Within

This meditation is inspired by the Celtic festival of Bealtaine which occurs on May 1st. Bealtaine a fire festival which marks the first day of Summer.

Fire is often viewed as destructive but it also gives us the ability to survive dark and cold times. This meditation guides you through a short pranayama practice called Bhastrika or Bellows Breath which mimics fanning the flames of a fire.

Following this we enter a guided visualisation of the flickering firelight within you as it burns up the things that no longer serve you in life, creating space for regeneration of your passions. We bring awareness to the brilliance of your light and allow the fire within to expand in fullness and radiance.

Please listen to the Spotify playlist with this meditation as the music is an important part of this meditation.
